CARAD waiting list grows

The Coalition for Asylum Seekers Refugees and Detainees was established to fill a gap when there were no services available to refugees who were released into the community. Many were condemned to live on the streets with little income and local knowledge. CARAD began as a group of volunteers to help with food, housing, health and education.

CARAD has now run out of funds to help while the need becomes more pronounced as the weather grows colder.

Blankets, warm clothing and funding ideas would be of immediate help.
